Business to Business Application Development
Many of the most valuable software systems are those that connect your business with the
businesses around it — customers, suppliers, partners, and buying groups. We design and
build bespoke B2B applications that automate the exchange of data between organisations,
reducing manual effort and eliminating the errors that come with re-keying information.
What B2B software does
B2B applications sit at the boundary between your internal systems and the outside world.
They translate, validate, route, and secure data as it crosses that boundary in both
directions — incoming orders, invoices, despatch notifications, price feeds, stock levels,
and any other business document your trading relationships demand.
Integration approaches
- REST APIs — the standard for modern B2B integration; we design and
secure bespoke APIs that your partners can call directly
- Azure Service Bus — reliable asynchronous messaging for high-volume
or time-sensitive data exchange between organisations
- Azure Durable Functions — long-running orchestration workflows for
complex multi-step B2B processes
- Azure APIM — API gateway providing throttling, versioning, authentication,
and a developer portal for your trading partners
- EDI — electronic data interchange in standard formats (EDIFACT, X12)
for integration with larger trading partners and buying groups
- Webhook integration — event-driven notifications pushed to your
partners' systems in real time
ERP and CRM integration
B2B data rarely lives in isolation. We connect external data flows directly into your
internal systems — whether that is a Microsoft Dynamics 365 instance, a bespoke SQL
Server database, or a custom application — so that incoming orders, invoices, and
confirmations flow through without manual intervention.
Security
All B2B integrations we build are secured at the transport and application layers:
TLS for data in transit, OAuth 2.0 or API key authentication at the gateway, and
Azure Key Vault for credential management. We can work to your partners' security
requirements or help you define your own standards.
